Gallery Premier, located in Chatan Town, Okinawa, is an art gallery that has been a cornerstone of the Okinawa art scene for a quarter-century since its opening in November 2000.
Situated along the "Kokutai Road" leading to the Okinawa Minami Interchange of the Okinawa Expressway, our gallery is conveniently located midway between Okinawa Arena and Mihama American Village, offering excellent accessibility.
Operated under the sincere mission of "connecting the passion contained within an artist's work to the emotions of the viewer" and "playing a role in creating a lifestyle where art breathes in daily life," the gallery is cherished as a place where art feels close and accessible.
A key feature of Gallery Premier is the exceptionally wide range of artists we represent, from up-and-coming young talents with ties to Okinawa to seasoned masters and luminaries who have established unique positions in the art world. Simultaneously, we organize numerous creative exhibitions featuring contemporary artists leading the current art scene.
The genres on display are diverse, ranging from paintings (oil, watercolor, prints, etc.) to sculpture, 3D art, photography, ceramics, textiles, and glass crafts. Our regularly held special exhibitions offer unique concepts distinct from our permanent collection, consistently delivering fresh wonders.
Furthermore, the gallery functions as a "Total Art Planner" rather than just a place for exhibition and viewing. In addition to selling exhibited works, we offer a variety of services that directly connect people with art, such as operating a rental gallery for the public, selling frames, providing art rentals for homes and offices, and undertaking custom portrait commissions.
